Padded Bras | Smooth Shape & Light Lift | MissFine
You are getting dressed for work, and the blouse you want to wear shows every seam and texture of your bra underneath. Or you are layering a fitted top, and nipple show-through is making you self-conscious before you have left the house. That is the problem padded bras solve — and it has nothing to do with adding size. The padding creates a smooth, uniform cup that gives you a clean line under clothing, full stop.
MissFine carries padded bras in sizes 32A to 48F — lightly padded T-shirt bras for everyday invisibility, moulded cup styles for defined shape, and push-up options when you want lift. Underwired and non-wired versions are both available. If you want the smooth look without any added volume, look for the moulded styles — they shape the cup without padding it.
Not sure of your size? Find your fit with our bra calculator. Padded bras can fit slightly differently from unlined styles, so two minutes measuring is worth it. For a step-by-step walkthrough, see our guide on how to measure your bra size correctly.
Frequently Asked Questions About Padded Bras
What is the difference between padded and push-up bras?
Padded bras have a uniform layer of foam across the entire cup — their job is to smooth and shape, not to add volume. Push-up bras concentrate the padding at the bottom and sides to lift the bust and create cleavage. If you want a smooth, invisible line under clothing, go padded. If you want lift and a deeper neckline effect, go push-up. Some bras do both.
Are padded bras too hot for summer?
Thick padding can trap heat, yes. For warmer months, choose a lightly padded or thin-foam cup — you still get the smooth line, but with better airflow. Some styles in this collection use perforated foam or moisture-wicking fabric specifically designed for warm-weather comfort.
Do padded bras make your breasts look bigger?
Lightly padded bras add very little volume — their purpose is smoothing. Push-up styles can add the appearance of roughly one cup size. If you want the opposite effect — to reduce projection rather than add it — see our minimiser bra collection.
