What level of water resistance do these provide?The DWR (durable water repellent) treatment repels light rain and moisture contact from wet vegetation and surfaces. This is appropriate for hiking, outdoor training in drizzle, and damp conditions. It is not full waterproofing and will not hold in heavy sustained rain.

Does the fleece lining stay warm when the outer fabric gets wet?Yes. The DWR treatment prevents moisture from penetrating to the fleece lining in light conditions. The combination of water repellency and interior fleece provides practical cold-weather protection for outdoor activity.

Will the water-resistant treatment wear off with washing?DWR treatments diminish gradually with washing. Washing in cool water, avoiding detergent residue, and tumble drying on low can help maintain the treatment. Specialist DWR re-treatment products can restore effectiveness when needed.

Are these suitable for yoga as well as hiking?The fit and stretch suit yoga movement, but the thermal fleece lining is best suited to cooler environments. These are optimised for outdoor activity and cold-weather casual wear. For standard yoga, the non-fleece options are more appropriate.
